Management

Ravi leads and manages the Gulf India business since 2007 and also holds responsibilities for the Cluster Markets /Asia Pacific Region since 2018. His role covers all aspects of the strategic and operational areas of these businesses, their growth and profitability. He is part of the Board of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd and Gulf Oil Marine Ltd, Gulf Bangladesh, Gulf Asia Pacific and Mangalam Retail Services Ltd.​

Prior to joining Gulf, Ravi worked in Shell Lubricants from 1998 to 2006. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, OEM and general management areas in multiple sectors ranging from FMCG, tyres, photographic films/equipment, luggage from organisations like, Polaroid, Wipro Consumer Products, Ceat Tyres and Blowplast.​

Ravi holds a Master in Management Studies (MMS) degree from the University of Mumbai and a Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Mumbai.

Thiang leads the business operation of the lubricant blending plant, storage tank farm and terminal facility in Tuas, Singapore. ​

Prior to joining Gulf, Thiang worked in Ocean Tankers from 2001 to 2021, Prebon Energy from 1999 to 2000, BP Singapore from 1991 to 1998 and sea-going Engineer from 1985 to 1988.​

He has experience in Sales and Marketing of Lubricants and Marine fuels, Oil Trading, Oil Terminalling business, Oil Tankers business and general management in the area of Supply operations, HSSE and Oil Tankers Newbuilding.​

Thiang holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Marine Technology from Newcastle Upon Tyne (UK), Certificate of Competency (Motor) and a Diploma in Marine Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.​

He is a Chartered Engineer (UK) and member of IMarEST (UK).

Jaykumar heads the newly formed Gulf Southeast Asia’s businesses based in Singapore. He is responsible for the strategic initiatives and growth in SEA markets.​

Jaykumar joined Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. in 2009 and has held several roles through the course of his tenure including Regional Business Manager to General Manager – Northern Region. In his most recent role, Jaykumar was General Manager of Gulf Oil Philippines Inc. where he led, developed and executed operations for the entire region. ​

Prior to joining Gulf, he worked with Total Lubricants India from 1998 to 2009 handling various sales functions and has valuable experience of working in the tyre industry. ​

Jaykumar holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Marketing.

Arvind has over 20 years of leadership experience with a strong business acumen. He has led his teams successfully in multicultural environments including India, Middle East & Southeast Asian markets for both B2B & B2C segments.

Ronald leads Gulf Oil Lubricants Indonesia as General Manager since 2022. ​

Prior to joining Gulf, Ronald has 21 years in lubricants business including in Chevron Lubricants, covering both B2B and B2C businesses across various sectors, which includes OEM, fleet, heavy equipment, paper, auto parts, mills, chemical & general manufacturing.​

Ronald holds a Master degree in Management from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Civil Engineering degree from Parahyangan Catholic University.

Michael is currently the General Manager of Gulf Oil Philippines.  His role encompasses all operational and strategic aspects, leading the sales and marketing team while overseeing finance and production to drive business growth. He is also a member of Gulf Oil Philippines Inc. Board of Directors. ​

Michael brings to the Gulf Family 20 years of leadership experience across sectors and a track record of success through business and product development & consumer understanding in both local and multi-national organizations.  Prior to joining Gulf, he was the General Manager of Nippon Paint (Coatings) Philippines Inc. where he was a key driver with the industry leaders in PCMO, MCO, Marine, Construction, and Industrial Sectors, playing a pivotal role in growing the B2B and B2C business. ​

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology, Philippines.
